The same year that Her Majesty the Queen was crowned on 2nd June, our largest convoy of 23 removal vans was seen on the Kingston-By-Pass (A3) undertaking the office relocation of British American Tobacco Company from Surrey to London!
1954
2 years in to the Queen's reign, Bishop & Son's Depositories Ltd celebrates it's 100th anniversary!
1955
The company trademarks its name and becomes Bishop's Move Ltd.
1963
Just over 10 years into the Queen's reign, Bishop's Move relocates the BBC Record Library from Westminster House, as Michael Aspel explains in this Twitter video

Our London offices next to Victoria train station quite often saw many dignitaries coming to visit Her Majesty the Queen.
1980
Bishop's Move transport the historic steam locomotive, Stephenson's Rocket, from London Transport Museum to Liverpool.
1990
Bishop's Move move John Major into No 10 Downing Street. He was to be the Queen's 9th Prime Minister.
2000
Bishop's Move opens a new European branch on British Overseas Territory, Gibraltar.
2002
In the year that the Queen celebrated her Golden Jubilee (50 years), Bishop's Move assist the Travelling Yeoman for the Royal Household as they accompany the Queen between Holyroodhouse and Balmoral Castle.
2004
The company celebrates its 150th Anniversary with a visit from Lord Jeffrey Archer (we went on to feature in one of his books - Nothing Ventured!)

In the year of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, Bishop's Move launches "Platinum Move", providing customers with the highest-level of bespoke home moving services.
